New nano tank.

I'm thinking about setting up another nano tank. Either a 10G or a 20L that I have sitting around. But I am going to put a sump/refigum on it. What about the overflow.

 

I could just drill the tank at the top and let water flow out that way (with a screen of some sort) or drill the tank at the bottom or back and build an overflow.

 

Has anyone doen either one of these?

Uhhhhhhhh dauh... YES.

 

Drill a 3/4inch hole and get a 3/4 inch OD (1/2 inch bulk head line ID) fer the back glass. Rill it like 2 inches below the surface. Use a U tube fer teh return OR drill a return line also. Ther is a good CAN YOU DRILL GALSS? thrad here in DIY I suggest ya start there or go to a local glass shop and have them drill it.
