Clownfish hosted before anemone get a chance to attach

Got a LTA yesterday and clownfish hosted before it get a chance to attach itself. 

Tried to give it a hand by digging a hole in the sandbed next to a reef rock to let it sit but the clownfish is all over it and pushes it right back out.

should i remove the clownfish to a hospital tank and let the anemone settle down first?

any advice would be helpful! thanks.
