TIM28GBOW
This morning i woke up to a moonlit tank with a bristle worm wrapped completely aroung two heads of frogspawn. This worm was at least 6 or 7 inches long. I had just recently lost two of the 7 heads from my frogspawn so i proceeded to use the turkry baster to get it out......iot was two big so i pinned it down on the rock and used a net..,. problem is about 3/4 of an inch of the worm ripped off and fell behind some rock.....i removed the rest. question is is the worm completely dead now or can it still grow?????????? ??? brownjesus15
it happened to me... they just separate easily when you try and catch em.. Link to comment
Duke13
The best way to get rid of Bristle Worms is to take your LR out and spray it with fresh water or a product like NovAqua. They will come running out of their holes. All you have to do is make sure you have a bucket underneath to catch them in. Plucking doesn't work. If you separate them, you have 2 worms. ODOG
Bristle worms can be a healthy addition to the tank. I would n't freak just because you have one. If you have one that is truly 7" I would remove as u did, but if now he is down to >1" I wouldn't worry. Link to comment
