Help with Wiring on the Tunze Osmolator nano

the manual for this is horriable. Be that as it may, would someone be able to disclose to me how they have there wires running?? on association is a solitary dark wire and another is a dark wire with a red strip than the 2 wires from the siphon are blue and the other is earthy colored I am befuddled reason the two of them power the siphon.
