Shrimp gobies first

Umm hello so I have been finding websites where they have a shrimp goby but not the shrimp I want. So I was wondering if i could get the shrimp goby first then my clown goby and pistol shrimp.

Yes. It would be best if you add your pistol shrimp near the place your shrimpgoby sets up shop, so they find each other, but the goby will hear the clicking and go to the shrimp when it's added. Make sure the goby has plenty of places to hide, since it won't have a shrimp to dig holes.
