Jd111423
Hi everyone, I’m Julian. After years of walking in and out of aquarium stores, I finally got my first tank. Set it up a couple days ago with live rock and sand. Added turbo start 900. Today had the water tested. Salt was fine. Ammonia was present, as well as nitrite. Guy at the shop told me to come in around Wednesday or Thursday to test water again. Definitely want to add a little more live rock and eventually some corals. Hoping I can get a pair of clowns in by next weekend. Just wanted to join the community since I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions as time passes. 2 Quote Link to comment
FollyFish
Hello and cheers. Welcome. Just to let you know that cycling can take up to a month. You want to make sure at the very least there is no ammonia since that can harm your pets. BTW I really like your rockwork. Quote Link to comment
