Scoly receding.

I got a “croc island” scoly a few days ago and my cleaner shrimp has been messing with it a lot, the scoly has receded a tiny but, I can tell because it’s not fluffed up and can see fresh white skeleton. My question is, do scolys take as long as they grow to heal? 
My parameters are quite high because my jebao dosing pump was doing an extra ml of kh, mag and calc and I didn’t test for a day.
