Rene
My three-gallon nano has been up since Februrary of this year and has been doing wonderful, but I recently had an accident with a new coral. Not two days into the tank, my mantis shrimp buried my calaustrea candy cane in a pile of sand. This event sparked off a bout of tissue recession and I almost lost the entire colony. No polyps were lost but all the tisse on all 5 polyps has receded to just inside the "cup" of the polyp. The remaining stuff looks healthy and colorful and expands well where it is and it's been pretty much this way for about three weeks. The recessed areas just look unsightly with all the skeleton showing. What can I do to help it grow back faster? Will it grow back at all? Any similar experiences/success stories? Link to comment
Gross111
I had a similar problem, I begain to feed them directly at night and with in several days there was a remarkable increase in tissue, and today the skeleton is completely covered Link to comment
