oba97 Posted April 2, 2020 Share Posted April 2, 2020 It seems like my Euphyllia dose t look normal. I don’t remember the “body” looking so extended in the past. Also notice the bottom two heads are retracted quite a bit. It’s been like this for the last few weeks. Quote Link to comment
Penguin Reef Posted April 2, 2020 Share Posted April 2, 2020 Flow and light plays a big role on how the tentacles move, extend, grow. They all look extended and healthy. Maybe they are stretching for light or the flow is blowing upwards from below them. The two heads that aren't open seem to not be receiving light What Equipment are you running on this system? oba97 Posted April 2, 2020 Author Share Posted April 2, 2020 The tank is a 40 breeder with a 20gallon sump. I have a photon v2 24” (rented a par meter from BRS, just haven’t arrived yet) two jeabo wave makers, Reef octopus Protein skimmer. all of my parameters are in spec. Quote Link to comment

I actually had a problem like this years ago when I first started and it was just because my tank was to new and they didn’t make it Quote Link to comment
