Kessil A80 Tuna Blue at whitest color setting (100%)

Hey all,

I'm getting one of these on the cheap, but I'm generally a 14K or lower guy.  Does anyone have (or can take) a few pics showing their tuna blue on the whitest/lowest color setting?  Feel free to filter as needed to be representative..  Would be much appreciated!!

Thanks 🙂

The whitest setting on Kessil lights is actually 100% "color". It gets more blue as you go lower.

Here's a blurry picture of my spare A80. The light is at max color and max intensity. On this setting it still has enough blue that I had to use a gel filter to get it true-to-life.

Not the best photograph, but hopefully that's helpful! 😁

I can take some photos on a tank for you tonight when I get home if you like

I’m the same as you; I like my lighting more white than blue. I’m quite happy with the A80 as I can get a much more “daylight” look out if it.

Okay I got some photos.

The first is where I have it set, something like 40% white, 60% blue.

The second is 100% white

The third is 100% blue

Oh man you are awesome.  So, it looks like 70-80% white will be my sweet spot. 🙂  I was worried that even 100% might be too blue based on some of the info out there.

Hopefully this thread helps others too - I searched all over before asking.

Thanks again you guys.
