Candymancan
Few months ago i got this teal/turqouise color acropora. It had pink tips but 90% of it was this teal color. It hasnt grown veey fast other then encrusting its base. Today i got a Turqouis stag acropora from ORA, i had forgot about my other teal acro i had. The color on both is nearly identical and im starting to wonder if they are the same coral. The local shop i got the first one from didnt know the name. They just sold me the nub for 30$ as an unknown coral. Anyway did i just buy the same coral ? Lol. I mean its ok if i did ill just glued them both side by side then. But i dunno based on the actual looks of the first one it doesnt look like a stag but who knows. Pic 1 is the first one i bought 2 months ago. Pic 2 is the new one. Sorry this galaxy s9+ cam is terrible Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
Can't give you any better ID on them, but to me they do not look the same. Coralites are much more prominent in the 2nd....almost totally cryptic in the 1st. (do you have decent nutrient levels in this system?) Quote Link to comment
