DSA65PRO Posted January 4, 2020 Share Posted January 4, 2020 Teflon Tape, for difficult, leaking Fittings I've used a single wrap of Candle Wicking, with Teflon Tape over that. Stay away from Silicone Lube, if it can get in the water, it will stop your Skimmer from operating. Quote Link to comment
mcarroll Posted January 8, 2020 Share Posted January 8, 2020 You should ask your supplier since it depends on the threads. If they are wedge-shaped tapered threads (don't assume, verify somehow) then they are designed to self-seal and thread tape can actually cause leaks or even cracks in the PVC.
