Tired
If I have two zoanthid colonies growing near each other, where they'll eventually meet, do they wind up at a stalemate? I assume when colony A meets colony B, they'll squeeze between each other a bit to fill in any open gaps. After that, do they just... not spread towards each other any more? I assume they won't keep growing new polyps when there's absolutely nowhere for said polyps to go. They won't grow on top of each other, right? And how much of a concern is chemical warfare with zoanthids and palythoas? Do they generally let each other alone? I sure see plenty of tanks with zoanthid gardens that don't appear to be poisoning each other to death. Quote Link to comment
Matteo
From what I have seen in my tanks and others they mostly kind stale mate unless once grows faster. If one grows faster it may simply grow around the other colony. Zoas are pretty easy going and honestly will thrive kinda anywhere you put them. A have some touch the bases of my sps and LPS and have no issues 🙂 1 Quote Link to comment
