Drop Off Tanks

Who here has a drop off style tank?  I recently saw one of these for the first time in person and thought it was awesome! Are you happy with it, pros/cons that aren’t so obvious?

I love them but decided to not get the first generation IM drop offs because they were made of acrylic and the reviews weren't good.

I haven't seen much on the glass versions, they look really nice but very steep price.

don't know how big of a drop off you're looking at.   These might be obvious.  not personal experience, but I've tried to follow a few tank journals that have them.

Pros:

neat aesthetic, especially with the peninsula layout

additional creative space

Cons:

flow could be an issue

providing proper lighting at both depths can be challenging.

I have the same tank, haven't posted an update in a long time, will try to maybe this weekend.  I love the tank. it allows you really to have two tanks with different corals honestly.
