reefnoobs
Hi everyone, just want to start out by saying that THIS IS A GREAT SITE!!! After hanging around this site for months and carefully read all the threads on how to set up a successful nano I finally decided to set up mine. All the lrs, sand, frags, and water are from my existing 37g. I just bought the tank from walmart, build me a hood that will accomodate my 65w PC light that I have laying around after I upgrade my 37g to 250W MH. Pick up an AC500, surface skimmer, and a 3/4w moonlight from BIG AL. I modified the AC500 into a refg but at the mean time I don't know which light should I use to get the best macro algae grow(any suggestion?). Anyways, here is a couple of pic that I took after I put in couple of frags.. tank with DIY canopy.. canopy with light.. full frontal.. right angle view.. left angle view.. right side view.. and here is the 37g that I used to start this tank up.. Costs: materials needed to build canopy $9 tank $10 AC500 $33 AC surface skimmer $8 3/4watt moonlight $13 shipping for the above items $7 ------------------------------- Total $80 Link to comment
