They are mostly for spot applications, but that’s fine for me, as I don’t want to burn my lower light corals. Quote Link to comment

It's mostly untested though.....the most I've seen is for 20kK LED's to be used as part of an LED mix. If you look for "20000K multichip" you might have luck finding some DIY lights built on them, but not many examples. Link to what you're looking at? Quote Link to comment
