Ratvan
Morning All, So I have been watching this Macro Like a Hawk since I received it a few months ago, it is getting close to the point where I can propagate the algae, having been reading and speaking to a few people on different forums as well as a company that propagates Macro Algae for sale that this is going to be more difficult that most Macro Algae's to propagate. Of course it is! The issue is that the algae grows from Nodules and not from cuttings. In theory I could let these grow out, get too heavy and break off and free float around the tank and allow them to get a holdfast, but that doesn't seem very tidy or fun or educational Going to wait for these Nodules to grow a little more before I remove them and glue to the same rock to increase the amount of stalks that I have in the tank. 3 Quote Link to comment
