morecoffee
Looking for a little feedback. I'm thinking of converting my standard 5 gallon freshwater tank into somewhat frag style tank. I'm trying to find an economical light. Possible have a variety of potential types of corals, but not too interested in demanding sps's. I found a Finnex 16" Marine+II Aquarium LED Fixture on sale for 29.99. I was thinking I could run two, one with whites and actinics, and the second one actinics only or double actinics only and it should be a pretty good value. My only personal reference point with marine lights is that of 3.7g tank with a Hipargero 30w and it is doing fine for me, but the mounting arm is too long for the a standard 5g. I'll also try to update my 3.7 thread with new pictures since I haven't posted much here lately. Thanks for the feedback. Quote Link to comment
