el pez Posted October 3, 2004 Share Posted October 3, 2004 well, i spent today shopping around for a minibow 7g, went to 4 different fish shops before i found one. but then i saw this! I picked up one of the new 16gallon mini-bows from AGA. after comparing it to the 7 side by side, the choice was easy. the 7 was just too small for what i wanted to make. so i had this 7g minibow all totally planned out, knew exactly what kind of lights i wanted, and now its time to start over. hehe yah. im in the process of building a canopy to sit on-top of it: should have the canopy done by next weekend. not sure what kind of lights i want to put into it(has plenty of room for halides to sit 4.5 inches off the water), so i'm open to suggestions. im leaning towards a 150watt DE halide retro and a 32w pc actinic... for comparison on the size of this tank(32oz gatorade): the rectangular section is 9inch x 20 inch. and its 17 inches tall(taller than i would like, but it will be ok. can't wait to get it together and get the reef started -Jeff- Link to comment
