Tanner59
I put my live sand and salt water in my tank and have the filters going, I’ve got some live rock curing in a bucket (was once live, then was dead for a few years and am now bringing it back to life) how long should I wait to put the rock in my tank? Also it had some dry dead alge on it, but I just left that on there in the bucket, is that an issue? Quote Link to comment

I'd brush off any loose organics. 15 hours ago, Tanner59 said: how long should I wait to put the rock in my tank? With just sand and water in the tank, you could put it in now. However, letting it cure in a bucket isn't a bad idea (less water to change out after it's cured). 1 Quote Link to comment
