I would also leave the sand, Just get alot of sand sifters and they will help the bed. What is your water change regimine? How often and such? Link to comment
burnah Posted October 10, 2004 Author Share Posted October 10, 2004 first of all, thanks for your reply, im very glad you like my setup... i actually have a sand-shoveling hermit straight out of the mediteranean sea, where they have nothing but sand to get their food from (they filter it)... he kept the sand clean so far, and he even cleans the gravel, he never climbed up on a rock or so, so i guess he totally eats only the algae from the ground... i change water once a week, just 10% which means 1.5 or 2 litres, i refill it with one half of a friends water and some freshly mixed one...
