Cmharper50
So my leather coral has been acting off, it’s not been having any polyp extension for the past 2-3 weeks along with drooping. I bought the coral and it had split into 2 at the base and I cut the twin off and placed it around my tank but ever since the main colony has been closed and “soggy”. Any advice as to what I should do? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
This is normal for leathers. They build a waxy cover on their skin and shrink up, part of cleaning detritus off them and growing. The less flow on them the more often this will occur because it's their method of cleaning themselves If it's not mushy to the touch or falling apart, it's most likely just doing its thing, especially after being cut.
