Muffin87
I noticed some flatworms in my 16G with LPS. Not sure if they're the Acropora eating type. I'm about to cycle a new 55G in a couple of weeks. Is it a good idea to dose KZ flatworm Stop or Salifert Flatworm eXit in: my 16G the new 54G tank during cycling. Would this help reducing the number of flatworm hitch-hickers from the live rocks? Thanks a lot! Quote Link to comment
seabass
I'd might use Flatworm eXit in your 16 gallon tank. I wouldn't treat the 54 unless you see flatworms in it, or have already transferred rock from your 16 gallon tank. IME, Flatworm eXit is best used in a series of treatments, as their eggs can survive the initial treatment. Years ago, I had some flatworms that developed a resistance to Flatworm eXit. I ultimately had to use Levamisole in order to get rid of them. Quote Link to comment
