Juno
It's against my nature to buy the cheapest product available but the reviews on this are surprisingly good. Some of the heavy hitters here in the forum even recommend it. I also don't want to be so stupid as to pay a premium for a brand name. I have a 34 Gallon 20 x 20 x 20 that has a tower of LR where I can place any future SPS. Do we think this will do the trick for full coral growth? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0727V8C5Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1MMQF53V4XMW6&psc=1 Quote Link to comment

Some are good, others just don't provide what we need. The light you posted is recommended but on a 36" you will need more than 1. Its mostly recommended for 20g and under. Depth of tank may be an issue too Another option are Chinese black boxes like this one. There are many options available with these lights and various ones available like Mars Aqua. https://www.amazon.com/VIPARSPECTRA-Control-Dimmable-Aquarium-Spectrum/dp/B07SHR6HW1/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=viparspectra+165w+reef+led&qid=1564776520&s=gateway&sprefix=viparspectra+165&sr=8-3 1 Quote Link to comment
Juno
It's a 20" cube, so I can maybe get away with putting any of the more light demanding items at the top and keep the softies down low? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Check the light out on ppl who have tried using it on larger tanks, they use more than 1 fixture because the light is designed for tanks that are 10-18" long Quote Link to comment
