Fernzpat
So after 15 years of raising kids I am getting back into the reef tank hobby. I have had my old rock and some new stuff cycling for a few months in an older tank. My new 25 Gallon Lagoon just showed up with the plumbing. Wish me luck (especially with the plumbing)! Used to have a 90 Gallon FOWL with some corals. Current Equipment list: -IM Nuvo Lagoon 25 Gal EXT Overflow and stand (the stand was an agonizing decision) -IM Mighty Jet Return Pump -IceCap 15 Sump -Lots of pipes and unions -Maxspect Razor X 100w LED Fixture -Old Hang on back refugium from the old days with new RIO 200 pump and new Fluval COB 6.5watts 9000k light. -100 GPD Melev's Reef RO/DI -Aqua Gadget hydrofill ATO -Jebao RW-4 Wavemaker -CaribSea Black Aragonite sand (not pictured) -Some old propellor pump that is probably 20 years old. Current Stock list on temporary tank: -One very lonely snail. -One Cleaner Shrimp -Green Star Polyp colony Edited August 21, 2019 by Fernzpat 4 Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Nice looking tank and set up. Sumps and plumbing intimidates me. Lol. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Fernzpat
Thanks Clown. Hopefully I won't ruin it. 🙂 I'm scared of the plumbing beyond words but have now watched approximately 31928 minutes of advice on YouTube so I think I'm ready. Pics soon to follow even if it's a picture of a "For Sale" sign. 🙂 1 2 Quote Link to comment

Elizabeth94
I like these IM Ext tanks. I was strongly considering one as well. Cute inhabitants! Your snail is a pretty color. Quote Link to comment

Your snail is a pretty color. Thank you. The only thing I'm thinking of changing is the white mesh on the cover. I read somewhere that some craft stores have a black one that does not obscure and reflect so much light. That snail has doubled in size since the (old) tank started cycling and the new growth is a different color. Freaked me out b/c I thought it might be a calcium issue, but calcium seems good every time I check. Quote Link to comment

Fernzpat
Updated PIC. Updated rock work(planning to raise the back rocks by an inch or so), a few more corals, lost my cleaner shrimp due to stupidity. 1 Quote Link to comment

Fernzpat
I had PVC under the rocks to keep elevated and he found a microscopic hole to squeeze himself into one and couldn't get out. Removed all PVC under rocks and did a massive water change. RIP Barney. 1 Quote Link to comment
