Seachem Tidal 55 HOB Questions

People using Tidal HOB filters,

1. Can you tell me how high the filter comes off the tank? I have a very low profile open back canopy that fits an AC20 with like half an inch to spare. I'm curious if the Tidal series will fit.

2. How short can you make the intake be? My tank is very shallow (7.9 inches) and i'm curious if it will fit, or at least make it fit. The AC20 intake barely fits without modification.

3. Has anyone put a heater in one? I actually fit my 100w aqueon preset heater in my AC20 (barely), but i'm looking for some more space, which is why i'm looking into Tidal filters. The Tidal 55 media space looks to have the perfect spot for it (that is the thin section of the media space).

4. How low does the outflow sit in the tank from the top of the glass?
