HookedOnAquariums
Love Bare bottom tanks. Provides a whole new place to grow coral. I run about 100x flow and don’t have to worry about sand and stuff flying everywhere. Black bottoms do look better imo but that may be because my halides bleach Coraline algae. 1 Quote Link to comment
DreC80
I run my nuvo 30l bare bottom and grow coral on the glass. High flow, easy to clean...I'm liking it. Quote Link to comment
Melfy77
Started my IM 25g lagoon with sand...took it out after a month lol. I've had both sandbeds and bb tanks before and prefer bb. Just easier to manage and I like the clean look. 1 Quote Link to comment
A.m.P
I like bare bottom tanks, and supposedly monti's will adhere just fine to glass, you can peel it off acrylic when it overgrows though, so maybe laying something down would be a great idea for fragging down the line. Quote Link to comment
TheKingInYellow
Yeah textured ABS sheet is on the shopping list. 1 Quote Link to comment
A.m.P
I believe it's easier to remove if it isn't textured, and the corals aren't supposed to mind one way or another. Quote Link to comment
