Qball77
Well I'm convinced that I can't grow sps in my biocube. I had a bonsai acro bleach out and 2 birds nests bleach out. My water is super stable and I put them in the recommended light and flow. Just can't seem to keep them alive. Although these latest two made it for 3 weeks 😞 I'm thinking it's because of the stock lighting on the biocube. I'm surprised that my monti cap and pavona have made it this long. On a good note, my 75 gallon is up and running! Let the cycle begin! Quote Link to comment
Qball77
Another month in and things are just ho hum. I haven't really noticed much growth except my acan which seems to be the happiest coral in my tank. I did move my fish out of quarantine and into the DT. My euphyllia just don't seem to be happy. I'm anxiously awaiting some new critters today! Thanks to the @wwc auction on Ebay and the father's day sale on liveaquariai scored some awesome deals on a new chalice, monti digi, and some chromi's. And I found a new elegance for only $40! The 75 gallon is in the cycle phase so I'm happy about that. Here's some pics without the new critters. Those will follow in the coming days! Happy reefing. Cpl_Wiggles
I know how those ho-hum months go. Watching everyone else's tank take off while yours sits, lol. Parameters, water changes, feeding routines, clean-up crews - they're all inter-related. I even found once that my BRS carbon has phospate in it! So even when you don't suspect there's a problem - there could be! 1 Quote Link to comment

Qball77
Well I have to admit that after 2 days of bubble scrubbing, things are looking better. I bubble for about 4 hours at night and I've definitely noticed that things are brighter and more lively. The corals seem to like it and the fish don't seem to mind. 2 Quote Link to comment
