Snow_Phoenix
Hi. I saw this interesting red-colored juvenile wrasse at my LFS few days ago. It was in the same holding tank as 2 juvi red corises, but the markings and fins are clearly different. The fish is around 4" long and I was wondering if anyone here knew what it was. I tried googling but every time I end up circling back to red coris pics, which is inaccurate. Does anyone know what wrasse this is? (Asking out of genuine curiosity because this is my first time seeing it) Quote Link to comment

I've owned a McCoskers before. Looks very different. This one also has 'eye' spots on his dorsal fin and green stripes on the face. Quote Link to comment
Humblefish
Looks closest to being a Red-Lined Wrasse (Halichoeres biocellatus). Might still be transitioning to male. 1 Quote Link to comment
