Rear Chamber Algae

Does anyone else have issues with algae in the rear chamber? Thankfully, I have no issues with any nuisance algae in the front. But the back is a different story. I clean off as much of it as I can weekly. Just curious if this is normal since theirs no CUC back there, or a sign of a larger issue I need to address. Below are a few pictures for reference. I used to have that problem, I just clean it out.

DIY some cover to limit light. Should work or least minimize the issue and cleaning.

I had it for a short bit. I manually reamoved it.

I set up a homemade upflow turf scrubber in one of my back chambers. I can live w algae back there, its when its in the display tank that it bothers me.

I agree with this guy, you've basically just saved some money on a turf scrubber. I'd love to only fight algae back there and not in the display tank.

Can you drop a snail in there as a CUC?  I have a Aquaclear 110 converted into a Fuge and one snail in it keeps all algae at bay on the plastic walls while the Chaeto grows like crazy.
