I have a 10g tank with a powersweep and a aquaclear mini with all its medium in it. question is when i put the DT's in does it get sucked through the filter and lost or does it come back through. this may be a dumb question, but what can i say:unsure: Link to comment
secretreef Posted September 26, 2004 Share Posted September 26, 2004 well i for one turn off everything in my tank but the lights and feed my DT's. I use half a spoonful twice a week in my 12 gallon nano cube and its packed. Been doing this for about 2 months now and everything seems fine. But to awnser your question i have no idea and was wondering if it got stuck in my filters and such . So thats why i just turn it off for about 10 mins Link to comment
myelin Posted September 30, 2004 Share Posted September 30, 2004 If you leave the filter/protein skimmer on, it will more than likely be filtered. I'd turn filters/skimmers off when you feed phyto. Link to comment
