Mini Fuge Light

I would like to make the second chamber of my IM10 a mini fuge. Any experiences with either;

I don't have experience with either, but they both look good. The second one looks better and higher quality.

I am using this one for growing chaeto in an AquaClear 70 HOB filter. It's worked out fine so far, had to remove growth a few times now. Nitrates are staying around 3ppm.

I'm guessing either one of yours would be fine. I do like the submersible ones, looks a lot neater when it's inside the chamber.

The second one listed is supposed to work well, I have one but havn't set it up yet. Derp. A few other people use it on here though.

Cool. What setting do you have it on and what’s your light schedule?

I have it just set on the white lights. I've got the light on a timer for 14 hours per day. It's on a reverse photoperiod from my display light. The display light is on from 10am to 10pm, and the fuge light is on 9pm to 11am. If your chamber can fit a longer light, get the longer one. Mine's only about 8 inches long because that's what would fit in the filter.

The second one has been used successfully by others.

 

You may need to put electrical tape over some of the leds, it may be too much light otherwise
