Alk is also high for RC. I used to do 50/50 IO and RC to get the levels I want. Regardless what salt you switch to, you need to acclimate your tank to it and go slow don't just jump over 100 percent. 1 Quote Link to comment

mcarroll Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 It's not the brand, it's the levels.....switch brands back and forth with every water change if you want, but you have to assure levels are "close enough" every time. (Better to stay with one salt of course...who wants to test that much!?) Quote Link to comment
