Coral pro alk is really high.  You can switch with small water changes but I would not do a massive one.

I have a 10 gallon tank. I puke you reccomend a 10% water change

What if I switched to instant ocean reef crystals?

You're going to have the same issue as Coral Pro. Alk is also high for RC. I used to do 50/50 IO and RC to get the levels I want.

Regardless what salt you switch to, you need to acclimate your tank to it and go slow don't just jump over 100 percent.

It's not the brand, it's the levels.....switch brands back and forth with every water change if you want, but you have to assure levels are "close enough" every time.   (Better to stay with one salt of course...who wants to test that much!?)
