frag plug size variability - what a pain

As a person who tries to make frag disks as invisible as possible I am finding they are NOT consistent in size.  I don't see the issue too much with larger frags, say 1 1/2 inches but the 3/4 in frag plugs/disks are all over the place.  Sizes can vary by as much as 1/8 an inch in many cases...usually larger.  I don't know how they are made but I would think they all come from some kind of mold that would be the stated 3/4 inch.   I know this is not an issue for most so just ranting I suppose.

It can be frustrating.  I bought a nice frag rack on clearance from DFS (forget the brand atm), but it doesn't accept typical plugs.  I suppose you are supposed to buy plugs from them.
