JonathanTiki
So I recently got in to the saltwater aquiarum and everything for the most part has been going good! I have a 5 gallon Fluval Evo aquarium that was cycled in the first week and a half as I had live sand, ammonia and bio spira added. I then added a small watchmen goby who has been doing amazing and eating regularly. I added a frag of zoas and a peppermint shrimp recently and they have also been doing good. My parameters are good as i check them very regularly and got them checked 2 days ago as seen on this picture. (Dropped my salinity as recoomneded to 1.024-5) They only concern I have is that I am starting to have a brigh/dark green algae form, or at least I think it’s that. I would like some help identifying that this is and if it’s good or bad. Thank y’all and can’t wait for some responses! Quote Link to comment
Donny41
Just looks like film algae. Normal stage of a new tank. You can get an algae eating snail or two Quote Link to comment
