AIO filtration water level low...

So,I made a AIO got some silicone tubing and tested water levels today,I'm running a Jebao DC650 return pump and even at half way the filtration water level is super low.. So that being said if I up the bulkhead size from 1/2" o 3/4" allowing more water back there,will that help ? 

 

 I'm asumming the overflow can't keep up with the return pump ?

Think so. Either cut pump rate lower or like you say increase inflow.

 I think I may get a DC1200 anyways,the 650 is definitely gonna be a little less than I want. Thankfully I made the AIO wide enough 3 3/4" wide. I did loosen the bulkhead and cocked it at an angle letting more water in and water level is a lotttt higher. 

 

 Now I just have to figure out what I want to do leave it,or bore the hole out. Little more and get a new bulkhead & strainer.... hmmm..
