willgr1 Posted September 22, 2004 Share Posted September 22, 2004 So i bought a dozen empty hermit shells the other day for my crabs, and i got 11 empty shells and this crab. I have no clue what kind it is, but it's doing a number on the hair algae. I know the pic is bad, but he's mostly white with redish-purple in spots on the legs. Any ideas? Link to comment

willgr1 Posted September 23, 2004 Author Share Posted September 23, 2004 i'm working on a better pic, but it keeps moving around too much and turning around on me. i did get a good close up look thou. Legs are actually mostly redish, and look hairy. antennas around eyes are striped too. maybe that will help a little until i get a better pic. i like it, just want to be sure it's reef safe.
