Alx510
I recently found a "Fisherman" living on a piece of live rock in my nano and i was wondering if anybody might be able to tell me what he is. He's small, maybe 1/4 inch diamater tops, and seems to be completely stationary. I call him "The Fisherman" because he throws out a gossamer thin spiderweb that's about 3" long, then reels it in with 2 small mandable looking things into it's mouth. It's pretty fun to watch and I am really curious as to what this guy is. Any answers are greatly apprecated. Thanks Link to comment

shutterbuggy
Does it live in a tube and casts out web stuff? If so I think that it may be one of these. Check out this link: http://www.globaldialog.com/~jrice/invert_...ge/vermetid.htm If that is what it is, it is a vermetid snail. Basically stationary and filterfeeds. Cleans the water column (albeit fractional) for you. Link to comment
Alx510
Yes, I think that's exactly what it is, only it must still be a baby cuz it's tube is less than 1/8" long... I notice they don't know the genus or family. That makes me feel like alot less of an ass for having no idea wtf it was thanks shutterbuggy Link to comment
