kznsky14
I'm new to the whole reeefing world. I've had my 10g up and running now for 4 months. I just got my first corals on sunday. A Xenia and a rock covered with starburst polyps. My question is regarding the Stars. They seem to not open during the day. When the 96Watt Agualight goes out, the all open up, when it comes on they disappear within minutes. They are located about halfway down the tank, right under the return flow of the skimmer. The xenia is doing great and pulsing right along. The only thing that I can think of is that the light is too bright. Is that possible? Any help would be appreciated. ammonia - 0 nitrite - 0 nitrate < 5 alk 10 ph 8.1 salinity 1.025 Link to comment
TimsVw
I had mine under a lot more light than that and they would still open up. Also I never saw mine open at night before so your guess is as good as mine. -Tim Link to comment
