Sushi Posted September 18, 2004 Share Posted September 18, 2004 firefish are extremely shy... and in my opinion, very passive towards other species. my firefish hides in the rocks all day, only coming out for a couple hours at a time... it usually ate pods that i had in the tank, or they ate cyclop-eeze when i fed the entire tank. i think you might be able to get them to eat flake, but it might take some effort. all in all, they're a beautiful fish, but if you have a crowded tank, it might hide and stay "unseen" whether you like it or not. ApocalypticSurf6 Posted September 19, 2004 Share Posted September 19, 2004 if you put them in with peaceful fish they be out, mines in with a chromis and a false perc, the oerc chased him away for about a month and now the firefise has grown some courage and comes out almost all day, and is extreamly hardy Link to comment
