zoothefreak
Most clownfishes will be aggressive towards other strains of its species so does this aggression extend towards colour forms Like sometimes even an ocellaris will fight with a percula but will an orange perc fight with a black perc? or will they eventually get along as they are both percs only differing in colour form...? I want to get a black perc and an orange one... Link to comment
ozadars
Actually there is no black percs. The black pers out there is A. ocellaris. There are percs with lots of black called onyx percs but they are not totally black and usually expensive. A pair of black ocellaris will fight with a pair of orange ocellaris or percula. The color is not really important. However if you wonder if you can pair a black ocellaris with a regular ocellaris, its possible because they are actually the same fish. They are both A. ocellaris. Some times A. ocellaris and A. percula pair up too because they are in the same complex but not very common and is probably less common Link to comment
