Cellenzweig
sounds good to me... what size is a 2' hex? 35g? If so, the only problem I can see is getting the light all the way to the bottom of the tank. Link to comment

Cellenzweig
here are the proper dimentions20.5 long 20.5 wide and 19.5 deep That works out to about 30g. That's plenty of space for a pair of percs and a yellow goby. how big do they grow? I've never seen one bigger than about 2-3" Link to comment
malawi freak
what else could i get im thinking about this 2 percs 2 yellow gobys or 1 blue cheeked 1 royal gramma 1 or 2 purple firefish does this sound ok? Link to comment
Cellenzweig
You may run into a problem housing a goby and gramma together. They are both cave dwellers and may fight for territory. You may run into the same problem with the firefish. Although they spend a lot of time in the water column, they will dart into a cave if frightened. Link to comment
