New clown not eating

ok i got my clownfish on friday and he has been looking good and has already gotten through the fase of omg its humans swim for cover. i have been offering him flake, pellet and bloodworms and he has accepted nothing but 2-4 blood worms since i got him. he looks fine and is energenic and dose not have a sunken belly. the only other source of food in the tank would be pods. my tank has a nice colony of them. would he be eating them and is this not eating much just a fase of moving into his new digs? Here are tank stats: 7.5g recently finished cycling, water is good 0 ammonia and nitrite, nitrate is around 10 or lower. the tank has a prism skimmer on it too. he is the only inhabitant.
