Angry-Monkey
Hi, I purchased a nanobox tide second hand about 9 months ago from a forum member. The fan has recently started making a lot of noise. It seems to be speeding up and then slowing down constantly and the sound is getting a little annoying. Would the solution be as easy as just swapping out the fan for a new one? Or do you think there may be another issue? I tried to clean the unit a couple nights ago and it didn't really help. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
patback
Mine did this before it died out. Maybe open it up and see if there is some dust or lint causing it to bind up once in a while. Quote Link to comment
Aurortpa
I stick the vacuum hose on the vents once in a while to suck up dust out of the fans. Might help. Quote Link to comment

Sounds like it is on its way out ( I think you have an OG unit ). Shoot me a PM or email. I will link you. Swapping is extremely easy! Quote Link to comment

SnowflakeDreamer
I figured that. I’ll have to open it up to see what kind of fan to order. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Christopher Marks
It’s worth the trouble! Let us know how it goes @SnowflakeDreamer Quote Link to comment
