got some sps-corals one week and a half ago, and a friend of mine said the will not survive because of my reef being not that old, but they still do well...

if they do not do well in my tank, how long will it take until they show it? shouldnt they behave abnormal as soon as they get into the tank? because they look quite healthy, they both are acropora, one like staghorn and the other one looks much more like a sponge... they look fascinating under actinic and UV...

btw, tank is 3G nano with only one hermit and some snails and quite much LR and an eheim filter...

thanks in advance, martin

Don't SPS usually like high amounts of light?

What is your lighting? If it's inadequate, you may see your corals lose color and even die with time.

How old is your reef? I'm not sure how much that affects the health of the corals but generally, older=more stable because owner knows more about water?

good luck.
