Unidentified worm thing

A few days ago, I went to the beach and collected some sand for my tank.

Coincidentally, today I found this little guy burrowing into the sand, before I dug it old, and now it's kinda motionless 😞

Does anyone know what he is?

Haha cute name.

Are there any benefits to having them in the tank?

They are awesome to watch. If it’s still out , Put it near the rocks and it will climb in there.

Heres a video of one of mine:

Okay thanks, it's good to know they're friendly.

I placed mine atop a piece of live rock, in hopes he'll take up residence underneath.
