some sort of coral?

Odd, looks an awful lot like a Montipora Digitata (SPS coral), but it looks encrusted to the rock. Is it actually encrusted all the way up, or is that just a trick of the picture?

Yes, it's encrusted to the rock on the top, part of the side, and the bottom. I have 64w of pc light over my jbj nanocube. Is that enough light? Thanks for everyone's help!

Hmm well I hope it survives. That pic was taken when I only had a 32w csl retrofit over the tank. Had it under that 32w for 3 weeks. Now I have 2 32w retrofits so hopefully it will do even better. Thanks for all your help!

just to put a word of advice in the lil "discussion" if your sps does start turning for the worse would it just be able to be put higher up and closer to the light to make it thrive more
