Mitigating a bad thing.

Ok, I know I did a bad thing, I knew that and did it anyway.

I have a 25G mix reef tank with the following in it:

1 - Black Ice Clownfish approx. 2.5 inches

1 - Yellow Watchman Goby approx 2 inches

1 - Neon Goby approx 1.5 inches

1 - Tailspot Blenny approx 1.5 inches

1 - Fire Shrimp - approx 3 inches

1 - Peppermint Shrimp approx- 1.5 inches

1 -  Randal's Pistol Shrimp - approx. 1 inch

7 - Snails

Lots and lots of corals Mix of softies, LPS and NPS

I know my tank is maxed out. But I did this anyway, I bought....

1 - White Banded Possum Wrasse - approx 2 inches.

My tank is over stocked, I have a HOB refugium (Aquaclear 70 DIY) but no skimmer. What can I do to help mitigate my bad deed. I don't want to give up a fish that I've waited a year to buy (WBPW) and I won't give back my other fish. Sooo.... I currently change 4G of water a week, if I increase that and see about adding a skimmer would that work for the over stocking. Is there anything else that I could do?

integrating more filtration and some macroalgae might work well.  just be careful of meltdowns. A way to increase water volume and maybe reduce some of the troubles would be to add a 20 gallon sump where you can filter and control water quality more. A HOB overflow might work, though they have issues. Good luck!

I would go with a skimmer and Feed just what they consume in a minute or so... you may get a bit of algae growth with the extra nutrients.
