panda_jerk
Ok just getting advice on an andnome. I'd love to have one but I'm not sure about a species that won't die easily and that won't kill everything in my tank. Right now I have a Reefer 170 with a clown a damnsel a watchman goby a scarlett cleaner shrimp assorted hermits and snails and then some xenia a frogspawn and assorted mushrooms. Thanks Quote Link to comment
SaltyBuddha
Most people that I see go with bubble tip anemone (BTA). They seem to be the most popular. Anemones should only be introduced into mature tanks and they can all kill corals or fish. They will move around and find a spot they like. Hopefully they will stay there but they can move at any time. There is a ton of info out there and I would do a lot of research before putting one in. Quote Link to comment
panda_jerk
I have been doing research and although I love the looks of an anenome, I think it will be something I try later on. I want my tank to grow right now and maybe eventually I can Include something like a BTA I do like the looks of RFAs and from what I have read they seem like a good starting point in terms of difficulty 1 Quote Link to comment
CarolinaShoreReef
The RFAs do walk as well but they keep to the substrate mainly from what I’ve seen in the past week that I’ve had mine. They stick their foot down to the glass and become well seated. One is by zoas and the other by gsp and none seem affected by the interactions. There are some really cool ultra RFAs, I had bought a really cool lava looking one but then it was resold on accident. Quote Link to comment
RIP Sebastian
RFA's are good. Just an FYI: clowns don't host those. Just be careful you don't tear their foot when you transfer them and feed them every once in a while. Quote Link to comment
