Best way to get macro algae

So I’m really wanting to get more macro algae but my lfs only has one type and I don’t know where to order any that isn’t expensive and won’t send me a huge amount. I am not using it for a refugium I just want some for decoration/hidey holes. Does anyone have a good website and/or advice on good types to get? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Subsea, thank you for the link! I checked it out and this site is exactly what I was looking for!! Are they pretty reputable as far as getting what your supposed to?

It is the best place on the World Wide Web.  Winter time is not there best season for availability.  

 

I like their red tree and yellow ball sponges.

Caulerpa Prolifera is a good choice to grow in substrate.  It resembles Oar Grass.

I’d wait till spring to order anything alive. I live in Montana.... it’s kind of a frozen wasteland here until spring.

I put tomatoe plants in the ground two weeks ago.  I also have three strawberries that have red color.

 

Macro comes in an insulated box just as mail order fish.

Yeah our ground is still frozen. Can start planning for a month or two yet. 

 

Thanks so much for your help. Macros are super cool. My watchman goby uses the ones I have as a connection tunnel between rocks.
